Fetiska: Как сказала Лукумка: По поводу букета. Хочется послать. И на день рождения хочется послать еще сильнее! Думаю, все нужно сейчас сделать то, что собирались. Письмо постараюсь родить на этой неделе, выложу на суд, совместно, мож, чего подправим. А др - он без всяких яких, как говорится.. само собой.

Yasminiya: Лен, а может не прям сейчас, а хоть пару недель подождем? Мне кажется, у них все это свежо. Тяжело в такие моменты. Нам то кажется, что только поддерживаем, а им наоборот. Это же невероятная усталость. Хочется напиться и забыться. Там такое внимание, что не каждая звезда выдержит. А они люди очень закрытые. Пока ты напишешь письмо, пока мы там ченить добавим, пока цветы выберем.

rahatlukum: Дом не продан, следовательно, туда приходят, следовательно, есть смысл послать, тем более, что кроме нас это наверняка сделают многие. Вряд ли большое количество заинтересованных, но не входящих в круг друзей людей обладает контактами его родных. Максимум - менеджмента.
Fetiska: Значит, так. Ситуация такая. Один букет - Джорджу. С ним все просто: заказываем доставку к дому, причем, можно попросить оставить его либо возле калитки, либо в этом "скверике", что напротив через дорогу - в зависимости от того, где будет осноная масса цветов. Которые там точно будут, к гадалке не ходи. Единственный момент, который нужно учитывать - это то, что 25 июля воскресенье, а доставка возможна только в субботу. Второй букет - семье. Достоверно известно, что в доме до сих пор живет Алекс, который смотрит за домом и ухаживает за собакой. Так что там точно есть, кому принять и передать по адресу наше послание. Но параллельно подразумевалось письмо. Которое я все же родила.. переписав бесчисленное количество раз... общими усилиями - спасибо Лукумычу за светлые мысли и Ксю за полноценный перевод с правками. В общем, вопрос только в том, как соединить письмо с букетом. В фирму, где я обычно заказываю цветы, и которая, как вы помните, была всегда очень благосклонна к нашим индивидуальным просьбам, я написала письмо. Спросила, могут ли они распечатать и приложить к выбранному букету наше письмо. Ответа пока что нет... уж не знаю, почему. Завтра, если не его не будет, попробую дернуть их в твиттере, но сами понимаете, что не факт, что достучусь. Вот такая петрушка.

Я попросила Алекса оставить его там, куда ему будут приносить цветы - возле калитки или в этом палисаднике напротив, - в общем, с другими цветами от людей. И в этот раз к букету я прикрепила небольшую открытку с фотографией Джорджа и надписью "For our dearest Man from Russian fans with endless LOVE". Заказ: Второй букет из белых роз с небольшой записулькой для Алекса про букеты и приложенным распечатанным письмом семье. Заказ: Вот текст письма: We are George’s fans from Russia. We live far from London, some of us extremely far, yet today we would like to pour our hearts out and say the words of gratitude and love which we can now deliver only to you – the people who stood by him for all his life and gave love, care and support to the man we now so horribly miss. We do not want to get used to the idea that George is no longer with us – it is impossible to be reconciled to this at all, for it is like losing a piece of one’s heart. We feel certain he is still around somewhere – singing, composing, rehearsing, taking strolls, laughing and loving, and we simply remain on the other side of the glass. It is just that we all have had the good fortune to go on such a long, terrific tour around that amazing country where he dwelt, and from now on we will spend our time sorting out favorite photos, rewatching the videos and listening to the ultimately precious voice which is the best thing that ever happened on this Earth. It is hard to estimate just how much we owe him, and realising we will never be able to repay this debt is simply unbearable. For most of us George made practically half of our lives, a special person from the very beginning – not just a handsome man or a talented artist, yet the one who had an immeasurable influence on our minds and souls. He was able – like no one else! – to be open and sincere in his art, to urge his listeners to doubt and reconsider, making them wiser and more humane. His passion for self-discovery made of us philosophers, and his natural and unadulterated love for people taught us to be tolerant and faithful. We grew up and matured, together with him we learned to love, forgive and let go, to make mistakes and redress them. People will always be talking about George, trying to uncover the formula of his talent, admiring his unique soul-healing voice, his skills of a composer and poet, his boundless charm and inner beauty. All those things that God and his parents gave him were inseparable in him, and George himself was the true secret of his gift. Having been given so much talent and charisma, George shared these with the world incredibly generously. We all owe this happiness of knowing one another and communicating to his sunshine smile, positive energy and the ability to attract and unite people. We are absolutely different, living at various ends of this country and even of the world, and it was George who made it possible for us to be together. Now we are sure there will be more of us – thanks to our love other people will hear and see everything that has long been recognized as classics in modern music. They will get to know the man that was George and, perhaps, will become a little better, and this is what makes living in this world worth while. We feel it is our duty to further spread George’s amazing heritage. We were extremely lucky to live at same time with him, to have this priceless opportunity to see him on stage more than once, and to somehow show our boundless gratitude for the happiness George gave us all, and in our hearts he will remain alive, handsome and young forever. And George was truly blessed with having such rock in the ocean as his family and friends – the gifts that are not usually given to everyone and for good. In fact, the ability to maintain a friendship, to keep kind and strong relations is also a rare gift. Thank you so very much for bringing George into this world and making him the person that he was and always will be. Please, remember us to his band, his colleagues and musicians devoted to him throughout most of his career – we consider them family as well. They gave us so many years of joy and happiness thanks to their talent, friendship and support, being close to him and helping translate his ideas and dreams into reality. And we send our special message of love and appreciation to David, who now is not just George’s closest friend but the hope that has been left for us, and we trust him endlessly.
