He almost died when he was struck down with severe pneumonia whilst on tour in the Austrian capital in November 2011. George Michael said his return to Vienna that it will be a "very emotional" moment when he plays his concerts on the 4th and 6th of September. George Michael said: "I want to say a personal thank you to those doctors who saved my life. I definitely want to visit the doctors in Vienna's AKH and give them a big hug." It is not planned that he will visit his hospital room at Vienna's AKH as he says "I went through a really hard time there."
