I have seen work colleagues on Grindr and promptly blocked them from chat. I don’t really want to see what they are up to, and I’m sure they don’t want to see what I am up to either. But also when George Michael was in town and I read that he was chatting to people via Grindr, I wanted to chat to him. Not to hook up but to simply be able to say I chatted to George Michael on Grindr. When I had a meeting directly opposite the Park Hyatt where he was staying. I admit I spent the entire two hours of the meeting logged into Grindr chatting to everyone in my vicinity including the receptionist of a local art gallery and an obviously bored parking metre attendant. I still have no idea what was discussed in my meeting and unfortunately I didn’t end up chatting to George!
